Grabbing pub grub at Pablo’s (restaurant review)

Another day, another invite from Zomato Philippines to try out a new restaurant. This time, it’s a bar called Pablo’s Pub & Restaurant. To be honest, I almost didn’t go. Sometimes I feel like I’m too old for places like this, but with a menu promising that it’s more than just a place where poor judgement is born of good alcohol and bad company, I headed for The Forum at Bonifacio Global City.

Tripping with Bridgeway Travel and Tours

I’d never gone on a tour alone before, so I went online and looked for a company that’ll take care of everything for me on my Bolinao/Hundred Islands tour. That’s how I found out about Bridgeway Travel and Tours. it was my first time arranging a tour with them, so naturally I searched online for people complaining about getting scammed by this company. I didn’t find any, so I went ahead and signed up.

Three YouTube channels you can pass the time with

These days, anyone can get their 15 minutes: all they need is a camera and a YouTube account. In most cases, I can’t really stand these channels; I don’t get how people become popular  taking videos of themselves reacting to something or playing pranks on each other, but that’s the nature of viral videos, I guess. Ribs that RUB you the right way (restaurant review)

Our boss took us out for lunch recently at RUB Ribs and BBQ in Kapitolyo. It’s been a while since I’ve had good ribs, so I was really looking forward to this, especially since the boss claims it’s one of his family’s favorite go-to restos.

Tricking out some Halloween treats

My nephews didn’t get to go trick-or-treating this year, so I wanted to do something special for them. Now, I am by no means the arts-and-crafts person in the family (that would be my older sister). But since it’s Halloween and I didn’t want to just hand them a sad bag of sweets to make up for what they missed, I decided I’d try my hand at a bit of the cutting and pasting thing.

An ode to coffee

I love coffee. Words can’t even express how infatuated I am with it. I can’t get through the day without at least 4 cups of it. In a mug or a cup, steaming or cold, black or creamed, I’ll take it morning, noon and night. I think I should form a new religion that praises the stuff.
