Whenever I go to Western restaurants like TGI Friday’s or Chili’s with family or friends, we more often than not zero in on group sharing meals because 1) American restaurants tend to offer large servings, and 2) it’s a big money-saving move (especially if a bunch of you are ordering the same thing anyway), so restaurants with family-size servings always score points with me.
I love chocolate, and I’ve always had a thing for spicy food, so when I discovered the existence of ice cream that combined both flavors, I’d always wanted to know if the mix would be as good as I imagine two explosive flavors would be. I only got to experience for myself what the combo’s like when my family and I recently stopped at BGC’s Gelatissimo.
McDonald’s is known for playing around with their dessert menu, appealing to the fat kid in all of us. I honestly don’t have a taste for absolutely all of their concoctions (I hate Koko Krunch Duo with a passion, so their McFlurry version of the stuff will never pass these lips), but I think they hit the jackpot with one of their latest creations: the apple pie a la mode.
At this point, I don’t really have to describe what a Magnum ice cream bar is, do I? By now, the entire Philippines should be familiar with the notorious craze that swept the nation when these frozen devils first hit the local scene in 2012. Lots of people are still calling it overrated, but what can I say? I do love me some Magnum.
I went to the park with my family some time ago. Going to a playground is something I hadn’t done in a while, so I couldn’t keep myself from testing how far up I could climb on the monkey bars and how high I could ride the swings before flying all the way to the emergency room.
